Day Two at the NZ Independent Book Festival 2015

Once again, it was a BRILLIANT day. I have been blown away by all the support I’ve received leading up to the festival, with people sharing the event with their friends and family, and to all those who turned up on the day (whether you bought books or not, the warm fuzzies of support are what matter most!).

Sunday was my buying day, too. I bought books from JC Hart, TG Ayer, Leigh K. Hunt, Ian Clarke, and Jacqui Be. I was even so lucky as to be gifted books from Stephen Barker and Helen Tau’au Filisi.Β Thank you.

I’m going to do a vlog (really, actually – promise!) about some deeper thoughts on the festival, but all in all I was impressed with the level of professionalism that NZ indie writers & publishers have, grateful for the support, and enthused by the wonderful people I met.

It was a fantastic event and I’m already counting down to the next one!
